Get them active

Encourage your walker to move confidently when they’re starting out by arranging the furniture so they can use it for support as they make their way around the room.
Make time for play
Play isn’t just fun – it’s how your child develops important skills. Play with their toys alongside them and enjoy yourselves together… games like pat-a-cake and dancing together are great fun.
Move to a big bed
Make the move to a big bed go smoothly by letting your child take naps in it before sleeping in it for a night. A bed rail can help them feel secure.
Dress them comfortable
Your walker is doing lots of moving about and exploring, so don’t put them in clothes that will restrict their movement or trip them up. Something light and simple is perfect.
Play games in the car
Keep a good stock of baby games and toys in the car to keep your walker entertained. And you can try simple games like pointing out all the red cars you see.
