Introduce them to family meals
Now your little one is on solid food, sitting with the family will encourage them to eat. Put them in their high chair or table seat and let them join in with you.
Have a spare special toy
If your child takes a favorite blanket or toy everywhere with them, buy at least one the same so you can replace it if it gets lost while they explore.
Get them sitting comfortably
When your child first sits up, put cushions behind and at the side of them to make sure they have a soft landing if they do topple over.
Play hide and seek
Stimulate their curiosity by taking a favorite toy and letting your child watch as you ‘hide’ it under a blanket or rug. They’ll love crawling to it and uncovering it.
Enjoy your bedtime routine
Your little explorer uses lots of energy and will get tired. A warm, soothing bath and a storybook before sleep time will help them settle down for a good night’s sleep.
